How To Use
New Gardens:
- Till a 3-6 inch layer of Original Planting Mix to a depth of 8-12 inches.
- Water thoroughly after planting.
- For best results, feed plants with FoxFarm fertilizer products during growth and bloom seasons.
Raised Beds:
- Amend existing soil with composted organic matter.
- Fill the top 8-12 inches of the garden bed with Original Planting Mix.
Established Gardens:
- Top dress a 3-inch layer of Original Planting Mix around existing plants and carefully work into the soil.
Trees, Shrubs, and Roses:
- Dig a hole 2-3 times the size of the root ball.
- Layer Original Planting Mix at the bottom of the new hole.
- Center transplant in the hole at the correct height.
- Pack the remaining space around the plant with 1/2 native soil and 1/2 Original Planting Mix. Water thoroughly.

Perfect to make extension cords

I have several portable tungsten work lights on stands. They product a high level of light which is great for work in a place without adequate lighting. I can move the lights around and get the best lighting. The problem is that they have short cords. This wire, the 16AWG (with the addition of a plug and a receptacle) will solve that problem. The outer jacket is rugged enough to handle daily use and it is light enough that it is not a bother to carry several to the work site.
With a rating of 13.1 amps it maybe a little light to use as a replacement cord for power tools, but this wire does come in several other sizes including 14AWG which should work on most tools.

nice 3 strand 16 gauge wire

This review is for a 20 foot sample of 3 stranded 16 gauge wire. 300V capacity. Using a multimeter, I got a resistance reading of 0.2 ohms across each of the three strands (at roughly 68 degrees Farenheit). Specs say 26 strands of 0.254 mm Tinned copper wire are inside each cable. Good flexibility in the covering.

Good quality but no more flexible than average cords.

The internal wires are good quality with a decent number of strands, but the outer cover is standard pvc, tough but no more flexible than any other cord product. Not suitable for my use on a hand power tool, a rubber cover is better.
